Say what you will about the Clinton's, but one thing they do very well is play politics. And why not? They can. No one in the MSM is going to challenge them...hell most of them are clintonites. So when the former Governor of Iowa who was running for President decides to drop out of the race and endorse Hillary Clinton no one bats an eye to the fact Hillary Clinton "retired Governor Tom Vilsack's $400,000 campaign debt." I know I love the euphemism also. Let's call a spade a spade. Senator Clinton payed Governor Vilsack for his endorsement and his time campaigning for her in a crucial state in the Presidential race. Is it a big surprise that anytime Clinton is campaigning in Iowa she has Vilsack at her side?
So why do I bring this up now? After all, this is "old news" as the Clinton's like to say. Well because the Clinton's are at it again. Does the name Ron Burkle me anything to you? He is a supermarket billionaire from L.A. mostly known for his unabashed support of the Clinton's. In fact Bill Clinton has called him "one of my best friends." So wouldn't you know it...a few weeks ago President Clinton and Ron Burkle are having dinner in NYC with L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. The Mayor is a "rising star" in the democratic party...think Hispanic Barack Obama. The dinner would have otherwise gone unnoticed if they hadn't run into Rush Limbaugh. Of course that made National headlines. Guess what has made National headlines today? "Mayor Villaraigosa to Endorse Clinton"...forgive me if I'm not shocked.
So I wonder what Mayor Villaraigosa was promised or already received from the Clinton's or perhaps I should say Mr. Burkle. Yes the Clinton machine will keep on churning over the next year and half so be ready for it...were not even in 08 yet.
